Community St. Clairsville is a family oriented, low crime, quality of life oriented small town, The City is a bedroom community for the Wheeling metro area. "Quiet" in St. Clairsville's case doesn't mean "boring". The city is located one hour from Pittsburgh, and two hours from Columbus.The Wheeling metro area of which St. Clairsville is a part, offers a number of amenities and services people search for. There are several colleges and university campuses in the metro area. The nationally acclaimed National Road Bikeway is in St. Clairsville, and Oglebay Park, one of the top municipal parks in the U.S., is ten minutes away.
